About the Measles Outbreak
Currently, the number of measles cases is rapidly increasing in Japan.
When going out to busy downtown areas or crowded places, please take proper infection control measures when you go.
"What is measles?"
It is a highly contagious infectious disease.
It spreads not only through droplet and contact transmission, but also through airborne transmission.
Its infectivity is ten times that of influenza.
Even with current medical care, there is no cure for infection.

Foreign nationals can also receive the measles vaccine!
In Japan, both inbound and resident foreigners can receive measles vaccination at their own expense.
The cost is about 15,000 yen.
If you have no previous vaccination history in your home country, you can receive it at a medical institution.
If you want to get vaccinated, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
To ensure immunity, two doses are recommended.
If you are administering your second dose, you need to wait at least four weeks between the first dose.
